First Aid & CPR Course in DB – Be trained by the professionals!

I have organised for St John Ambulance to come to Discovery Bay and conduct their 1 day First Aid & CPR Course.
During the day you will learn from the experts in First Aid about the:
* principles of First Aid & Action at an emergency.
* bleeding and Control Bleeding.
* recognition and Management of Shock and Fainting.
* recognition and Management of Heart Attack.
* recognition and Management of Fractures.
* management of Burns and Scalds.
* management of Airway Obstruction.
* management of Asthma.
* Heat Exhaustion and Heat Stroke.
* Epilepsy.
* Recovery Position.
* Child Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
The course will be conducted in English only and, to gain the most it is essential that your understanding of English is excellent. This course is ideal for anyone working with or around children – ideal for parents, helpers, teachers and carers. Candidates will be awarded an Attendance Certificate. A CPR Certificate will also be awarded to those who pass the CPR assessment.

Price: $250.00 per person.

Hong Kong St. John Ambulance is a charitable organization with a long history stretching back over a century and has been serving the community since 1884. The organisation is dedicated to provide first aid and ambulance services in emergency, dental care for the handicapped, and courses of instructions on First Aid and Home Nursing for the general public. Since its establishment, St. John in Hong Kong has been operating under the Order of St. John Ordinance Chapter 1047 in the laws of Hong Kong, and in accordance with the regulations given by St. John Headquarters in London with her Majesty the Queen as the Sovereign Head of the Order.
